Description
Valida T is a naturally derived, cold processable rheology modifier, obtained from the fibrillated cellulose of sustainably sourced wood pulp. When dispersed in water it forms an extensive network through hydrogen bonding and mechanical entanglement. The formed network stabilizes particles in suspension and oil-in-water emulsions without an emulsifier.
Valida T helps form a high spreading gel which acts as a lubricant on the skin surface and gives the skin a soft and smooth appearance. It possesses good hydrophilic properties, making it suitable for creams, sun lotions and gels and acts as a stabilizer and thickener in transparent aqueous systems, encapsulated fragrances, oil-in-water emulsions, exfoliants, TiO2, ZnO, as well as colored formulations.
