Ultrapure GML
INCI / Latin Name: Glyceryl Monolaurate
Description: Ultrapure GML is an effective antimicrobial which has unusually high activity against gram-positive bacteria, fungi, mold and yeast organisms. The product is highly lipid soluble and has minimal water solubility. Because it is a good emulsifier, it distributes between both lipophilic and hydrophilic phases of formulations. Ultrapure GML is a surfactant that is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA. A blend of 0.5% Ultrapure GML with 0.1% EDTA is a complete, non-irritating, cost effective preservative system
