SHEA BUTTER

Definition: a pale solid fat from the seeds of the shea tree used in food, soap, candles, personal care and cosmetics

Product: Ultrapure Shea Butter is an ingredient for the cosmetic and personal care industry comprised predominantly of stearic and oleic acids of the Karite Tree. Its large unsaponifiable fraction provides good protective qualities making it an ideal ingredient for sun protection formulas, pre and post sun exposure products, sun sticks and other localized protectants.

Ultrapure Shea Butter's oily qualities improve skin softness and suppleness which make it ideal for dry or sensitive skin care, winter sports products, and for body lotions and hand care products.
