Description: Ultrapure GML exhibits antimicrobial activity against a wide variety of organisms except for gram negative bacteria. The product is highly lipid soluble and has minimal water solubility. Because it is a good emulsifier, it distributes between both lipophilic and hydrophilic phases of formulations. The surfactant properties of Ultrapure GML in addition to its action on micro organisms allow it to be a very cost effective preservative.
